Yoyong Palima Photography has been an
established business for many years. It started
in 1994 as a portrait studio specializing in
weddings since 1995.
Yoyong Palima, a born photographer, having the
indefatigable Cesar Palima Sr. (owner of Cesar’s
Portrait, Davao City) as father. The favorite
photographer of the younger set, Yoyong is
renowned for his sense of humor and ability to
put people at ease.
Yoyong brings a fresh dimension to professional
wedding photography. His primary interest is
maintaining the highest possible quality within
his studio—quality which encompasses
professionalism as well as an understanding and
sensitivity towards his work.
There are other well qualified photographers who
work for the studio, but Yoyong still
photographs the first wedding booked made each
weekend. For him, every wedding is just as
special and he puts his heart and soul into his
work. He believes “If you love photography, you
will always love it. If you don’t, you may come
to appreciate it but it will, never become part
of your soul.”
According to Yoyong, excellent wedding
photography requires a combination of both
emotion and technique. Yoyong finds the love and
joy expressed at wedding euphoric. His feelings
